childhood

I remember those days
when happiness had many ways
sorrows were far away
I wanna again live that way

playing in the mud
waiting for the rain
we play hide n seek
making a no. chain
I wish those moments could stay
I wanna again live that way

my night begins with dark
my day starts with sunshine
everyone touch my cheeks
when whole day was just mine
when mom teaches me to pray
I wanna again live that way

going to school in uniform
realises us the equality
we hold each others hands
making the sense of sincerity
every week we wait for sunday
I wanna again live that way

taking part in school function
doing funny salsa with girls
we compare each other
we look like real pearls
teaching others not this that way
I wanna again live that way

exams time was toughest
when we prepare to lead
I can leave him behind
we were having the creed
before answering we do pray
I wanna again live that way

waiting for the result
waiting for the declaration
wishing the god to do
justice with our preparation
when results make us say Hey
I wanna again live that way

when colour didnt matter
when no caste was there
making friends was so easy
when no haste was there
when instead of 'he' people say 'they'
I wanna again live that way

when for sleeping in the night
maa's lori was the sweetest
when for seeing the world altitude
fathers shoulder was highest
when sister tells the right way
I wanna again live that way

while holding the finger again
I wanna walk a long again
I wanna receive that care again
So that i dont go wrong again

I wanna again live that way
I wanna again live that way
